1. Who we are

Miranda ("we", "us", "our") provides brand intelligence reports via the website askmiranda.io. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through our website and order process.

Miranda is operated by Loïc Blanchard, micro-entrepreneur, registered under SIRET 512 251 687 00046, located in Aix-en-Provence, France. Contact: hello@askmiranda.io.

2. What data we collect

Data you provide

When you place an order through the form on our website, we collect your email address, brand name, website URL, industry, and any optional information you provide (review profile links, additional notes). This data is processed on Cloudflare infrastructure and used to deliver your report.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number or bank details. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment data. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.

Data collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It provides aggregate traffic statistics (page views, referrers, countries) without tracking individual visitors. No cookie consent banner is required for this service.

3. Data we analyze in reports

Our reports are based entirely on publicly available information: published reviews, public ratings, social media profiles, and expert publications. We do not access private accounts, internal systems, or non-public data.

Published reviews may contain the names or pseudonyms of their authors. We do not collect or store reviewer identities separately. Any reviewer information included in a report is reproduced from publicly accessible sources for analytical context.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6(1): (a) contract performance -- your email, brand details, and order information are necessary to deliver the report you ordered; (b) legitimate interest -- aggregate analytics help us improve the website without impacting your privacy.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate: Stripe (payment processing), Cloudflare (website hosting, analytics, order form processing, and anti-bot verification via Turnstile), Brevo (transactional email notifications), and Anthropic (AI analysis via Claude API). We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers.

Your order form submissions (email, brand name, website URL, industry, and any optional notes) are processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function. Brevo transmits order notification emails on our behalf; see Brevo's privacy policy for details. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies that form submissions come from real users, not bots; it does not use cookies or track users across sites. Anthropic processes brand data through the Claude API for analysis; data is retained for up to 30 days for trust and safety purposes and is not used for model training.

6. Data transfers

Some of our service providers (Stripe, Cloudflare, Anthropic) process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by EU-approved mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

7. How long we keep data

Order data (email, brand details) is retained for the duration of our business relationship plus the legally required retention period for accounting records in France (currently 10 years for invoicing records). You may request deletion of non-accounting data at any time.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, or port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in France: the CNIL, cnil.fr).

9. Cookies

This website does not use cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics operates without cookies or local storage. Stripe may set strictly necessary cookies on its own domain when you interact with the payment page. These are not set by askmiranda.io.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will notify affected customers by email.
